What is SoreFix lip balm?

SoreFix is a cold sore balm that should be applied on or around the lips in order to treat cold sore symptoms and also prevent cold sores.

When do I use SoreFix?

In case of an increased risk of a cold sore (in case of stress, fatigue, sunlight exposure, extreme cold, monthly period, chapped lips, illness) you can use SoreFix as prevention. When you have been using SoreFix for a period of 30 days interrupt the treatment for three to five days.

If you already have a cold sore, use SoreFix in order to relieve the symptoms. Start using it as quickly as you can after discovering the development of a cold sore. Read the instructions for more information.

How does SoreFix work?

The effectiveness of SoreFix is caused by a physical UV-filter and zinc salt. Furthermore, the zinc oxide cold sore balm is enriched with Vitamin E. SoreFix is included in the category of ‘medical aids’.

Can I use SoreFix in combination with other medicines?

Yes, SoreFix cold sore treatment can be used in combination with medicines.

When shouldn’t I use SoreFix?

In case you are (very) sensitive to one of its ingredients. There is no information on use during pregnancies, so ask your GP for advice. As far as known, SoreFix can be safely used during breastfeeding. The balm is suited for children of four years and older.
